Baked Macaroni and Cheese: A Cheesy Delight

Instructions:

  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the flour and whisk until smooth.
  5. Slowly add the milk, whisking constantly, until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  6. Add the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, stirring until they are melted and the sauce is smooth.
  7. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce, stirring until everything is well combined.
  9. Pour the mac and cheese into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  10. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs evenly over the top of the mac and cheese.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the breadcrumbs are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  12. Let the mac and cheese cool for a few minutes before serving.
