A Plague Tale: Innocence Review: Gripping Narrative and Stealth-Based Gameplay in Medieval Times

Hey guys, I recently played A Plague Tale: Innocence and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The game is set in medieval times and revolves around the story of two siblings, Amicia and Hugo, trying to survive a deadly plague and a world filled with rats.

A Plague Tale: Innocence Review

One thing that really stood out to me was the gripping narrative. The game does an excellent job of immersing you into the world and making you care about the characters. The relationship between Amicia and Hugo is heartwarming and watching it develop throughout the game is a joy to experience.

The gameplay is primarily stealth-based, which I found really engaging. You have to navigate through environments filled with rats, guards, and other obstacles by using stealth and strategy. The game does a great job of giving you different tools and abilities to use in order to overcome these challenges.

One thing that really surprised me was the use of light and dark in the game. The rats are attracted to the darkness, so you have to use torches and other light sources to keep them at bay. This adds an extra layer of strategy to the gameplay and makes it even more immersive.

The graphics and sound design in the game are also top-notch. The environments are beautifully rendered and the sound effects add to the overall atmosphere of the game.

Overall, I highly recommend A Plague Tale: Innocence to anyone who enjoys a gripping narrative and stealth-based gameplay. It’s a unique and immersive experience that I won’t soon forget.
